Townsville to Bali (Direct)
Hey guys,
How cool is it that Strategic Airlines have recently announced a direct flight from Townsville to Bali at $398 inc tax return?
Having been here for 7 years I am hoping this will create a wider international service from Townsville.

My OH ended up flying on a Strategic Airlines charter last month when V Australia cancelled their flight from Brisbane - Phuket at a few hours notice. Said it was fine...although most of the passengers were too zombified to notice anything after the 20 hour delay!

THey fly Perth-Bali too. I also think they are a full-service airline.

I saw that they fly from Perth when I did a search, I really hope this is the start of great new things for Townsville.
BTW... Lookout for great Jet Star deals, my OH got a return flight from Cairns to Singapore this Nov for about $350 return... saved heaps on the trip back to Manchester airport.
