Hi everybody

Just a question to you knowledgeable people out there!

Any ideas regarding Toowoomba QLD as a town and area?Does anyone know if a mine is going to be opened up there in the near future?

Tuh wum bah is lovely.

But its a bloody long way from Brizzy.

Called garden town, its perched on top of a huge hill.

Pretty big area to, and somewhat cooler than say ipswich.

Gatton is this side of toowoomba and i like it, good uni etc if your into driving tractors lol

Yup, as Ste says, nice town - 'parrently lots of bars and not a bad ol' nightlife there!

Think it's a little bit 'redneck' though from tales I've heard :huh:

About a 3 hour drive to Brissy so not really commutable - as for a mine opening up there, not heard a thing, but there is an existing one called the, 'New Ackland Mine'.

Just done a quick search - from what I can gather, it's not a new mine but the old Ackland mine 'moving' further East.
