Photo threads are few and far between, and normally its photos of beach scenes and rural areas that are foremost.
So heres an invitation to take some pictures of your Local area. I've had a bit of time to do this over the last couple of days and here are some quick Jpegs of my local area around Moreland here in Melbournes Northern Subs. I had intended to get some nightlife in amongst it... but haven't been out thus far... may try that tomorrow night. So here goes... A quick snapshot of Moreland in Melbournes inner North.

Would like to walk down that street with all the tree's and have a squizz at the terrace houses. The cars look like they are in jail
That last photo could almost be the UK....the tree's I guess...

Turned off the main road in Traralgon for a laugh* yesterday and was impressed with the Post Office building.

Nice beach...looks a bit like Burleigh on the Gold Coast. What the hell is that on top of the house?
That last photo (rocky beach) isn't the same beach as the other one is it?

If you mean the thing that looks like a spacecraft then its the ducted aircon. The rocky beach is down at Marino where I used to live.

Here's what we've been up to during the last month - outside Melbourne Museum, some fab steps in the city, tobogganing at Mt Donna Buang, walking in the Dandenongs and a winter walk along the beach:

Went looking at houses today around Paddington in inner west Brisbane. Took a few rushed shots while we were wizzing around until my wife lost it.
1st - View towards "The Gap" and mountains right near the city

3rd - Banana bread to die for
4th - Every house converted into a great little individual shop

My wife tells me you have very photogenic daughters. Quite a collection of photos. Shows not all Australia is McMansions or sand - and the same goes for OzzieEagle's collection.
