Photo threads are few and far between, and normally its photos of beach scenes and rural areas that are foremost.

So heres an invitation to take some pictures of your Local area. I've had a bit of time to do this over the last couple of days and here are some quick Jpegs of my local area around Moreland here in Melbournes Northern Subs. I had intended to get some nightlife in amongst it... but haven't been out thus far... may try that tomorrow night. So here goes... A quick snapshot of Moreland in Melbournes inner North.

Yehp a real life type thread. I'll try and take a few tomorrow on my outing to the Melbourne Victory game... including some from the pub... Pity we aren't playing Sydney or Adelaide. Should be some decent night shots on the way home.

I'm going to the game tomorrow, got a free family ticket.

I had a freeticket for the Fulham game but declined it as was for myself only and there was free drink involved and I would have been representing my club.. not a good mixture.

Bloody place is in one of those pics, but cant remember the name of it now.

It's the smaller round place, on the edge of Surfers... stayed there twice now.... The Russian Lady owner gave me good rates for some reason. Wonder if she is still there, last visit was 5 years ago.

They still havent sorted out whether that Q building on Surfers is taller than our Eureka tower in Melbourne AFAIK

Apparently the Eureka Tower is the world's tallest residential tower when measured to its highest floor, but Q1 located on the Gold Coast is officially the world's tallest residential building as its spire adds to its total height - according to Wiki anyway. And the Eureka Tower Apartment site says 'The world’s second tallest residential building, Eureka Tower is an architectural icon' so I'd say it was Q1, until a taller one's built anyway
