Or have these guys been missing from here for ages now??? I cant remember the last time i saw Timber on here and maybe the mad house finally caught up with Marcus for all those threads he kept replying to himself.

And as for good old Soapy and his advice i aint seem him here for a while either. Maybe there is to many meet ups to be organised:thumbup:

Any ideas? it sure is quieter around here without them:ohmy:

I think Timber has his own site now (there was a conversation in the Lounge) but I don't know the address, Aston is busy busy busy renovating his garden (every spare minute) and don't know about Soapy.

You will find Soapy and Ast (if you can do anagrams) on Timber's site too.

Most people come and go, especially once their lives are fully on track and they find less time to post. Not a big thing. Forums have quiet moments, stroppy moments, hysterical moments. This is a quiet one and has been for a few months now. It'll change again soon enough.

However, I don't think I'm breaking any rules if I suggest you google Timber's BE username......the answer you may find? Possibly even in the top 3 results. Maybe. ;)

dont think i have every actually read the site rules before :o

i actually cant make out what this means?

Please do not post promotional/advertising messages, urls, nor specifics that would lead people to your site/product/service. However, a line in your signature with a link to your site is allowed.

surely a link to your site in your signature IS a url that would lead people to your site?:confused:

This question should have been put in a PM to a mod but since you ask, Timber was more than welcome to put a link to his forum in his signature, unfortunately because various people decided that it was a good idea to abuse various people on this forum whilst plugging his, the decision was taken by Admin that he was in violation of BEs rules. The only person who would have had the link would be Timber, no one else.

No one denies that the more forums the better, however when one takes pleasure in abusing another, why should that forum allow the advertising?

The official line: "The rules state We realize members of BritishExpats may also be members of other forums, do not try to degrade or discredit other forums, their administrators, moderators, or their members. - in return we expect the same respect on other forums. That is one of the reasons why Admin took the decision to filter the name of the site. Further discussion should be addressed to Sue. "
