Question For those who've had citizenship approval

Having done the citizenship online application forms we've subsequently received our approval letters. Our son was put onto my application but is not mentioned anywhere on the approval letter. For those who've already had their letters, were your children mentioned on your letters when you got them? Do I just assume he is merrily going to be joining us for the ceremony?

He's under 16 so yes, he's included. Unless they've cocked up of course

Cheers. It just threw me a bit his name not being on the approval letter.

Don't know what they're like your way but the Brissie Immi office are really helpful (apart from one jobsworth hitler) and you get a human on the phone. Might put your mind at rest to give them a ring on Monday just to check.

No because the time starts from when you validate your PR visa or receive your PR visa. Previous trips are irrelevant to DIAC - unfortunately! If you arrived prior to July 07 then you need to clock up 2 years residency. If you arrived after (sorry can't remember when you landed) then you need to wait four years before you can apply.

Hmmmm, when i came in 88 I stayed until 90 and had a permanent visa then.

Now I'm on a different one.

wow, from 2 years to 4. I thought it had gone to 3.

No afraid not The price of the application doubled as well from last October. It used to be an interview and $120. Now it's a test and $240 per person (kids go free)

Shame you didn't get citizenship last time, but I guess you were under the two years? Still doesn't count though, sorry.
