I am prepared to, on behalf of all Barbie posters who have been here too long, fly to the uk and undertake a detailed, in depth, comparative study of Australian and uk products and perceived variations in taste. Providing some one can find funding for this valuable research

You jest, but with the right research proposal, and the right background, presented to the right people, I can see how you could make that research fly.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't already been done a few times over.
