Things you forgot to do

It seems that the lists of things that need to be done in preparation for migration is a mile long. What did you forget to do/sort out/pack before you moved that left you with that "doh!" feeling?

I left my longjohns behind. BUT I had a glass of champagne in my hand as the plane wheels left the UK tarmac, I took a good sip.

Packers packed new specs used for driving. Didn't want to buy more cos they were expensive so managed to survive 3 months until they turned up in Aus.
Only crashed 10 cars so not too bad :unsure:

We forgot to bring DD's birth certificate in our air luggage, so it got shipped. Was a complete pain in the arse, as medicare refused to register without it. Despite us presenting her Australian passport to them as proof of her DOB.

took the removal blokes round the house telling them what furniture was to be packed. Went back later to pack my daughters suitcase to realise that they had already packed her room into the container -including her chest of drawers with all her clothes in- all she had left were the clothes she was standing in - oops!
