You must be lucky...when we were renting, the agents sent the bill along to us...it was in the lease of course that we pay for all water use. Either you have a super generous owner or it's built into the rent.

Hi guys,
When I rented for a year and a half here in Perth we had no water bill, but when we left to move into our own home we were sent the bill for the whole 1 and a half years
I would check with ya agent on that one.

All the Qld places I've rented have had it in the contract that reasonable water use is covered by the landlord and only excessive use would be billed to the tenant.

OO, I dont know! i know though that I never had anything free at home and was amazed when I got here at how good the facilities were in public places. At home someone would P**s on them and then smash them up
reading the paper this week about my home town - there were 6 stories of kids parks and schools being heavily vandalised, its such a pity because where I am from would be great if things were kept nicely
