Tangalooma

Wondered if anyone can anywhere to stop on moreton island near tangalooma.
Quite fancy taking the family for a night or two in early december.

Looked at the resort but they are talking silly money

Re: Tangalooma

you can camp a couple of 100m's south of the resort...that'll be your best bet. Never done it myself, but friends have.

cheers

Re: Tangalooma

Thanks, i'd heard that but was told i'd have to take all supplies such as water etc. And as i'd be travelling on foot, it would be a bit of a struggle with tent etc as well.

Unless someone knows different of course.

Anyone!

Looks like they have water, but you have to treat it before using. http://www.epa.qld.gov.au/parks_and_...g_information/

Hi

Me and the hubby were looking for a short break last year and looked at Tangalooma but it was really expensive. My brother told me to look in the Sunday Mail for some deals. We ended up getting in Tangalooma in the hotel with a sea view for 3 nights and it cost just under $300 for the 2 of us and that included the transfer from Brisbane docks. We loved it and will go again.
