Doesn't work for everyone, but it's a big hit for me. As long are there are no kids with me, obviously. :D

Yes buying a new pair of shoes is exactly the same as having a shit.

Nope. Used to a bit when I was young, worked in London and had plenty of moolah. Only wore Gina, daughter devastated that I didn't keep them :(. Now they're just things to put on my feet. Live in either thongs, converse or a pair of boots that are about 8 years old. Oh I do have a fab pair of boots that I got in 1986 that are still going strong that I love to death.
