Want to be within 15 mins of CBD, ideally sea views but views could be city skyline. Company paying so budget is well appropriate for me not to worry.
Its Monday to Friday so no concern about schools, but close proximity to restaurants

Any recommendations? Maps don't give the real time / experiences

doing so much travel looking to reduce hotel usage

Will be in Singapore/Malaysia for most of 2014 decided to leave girls in their Australian school and bring them up during holidays and long weekends (alternating with trips myself into Sydney/Melbourne)

Balmain area (2039, 2041) or Surry Hills (2010) for cosmopolitan with city views, for sea views (and maybe a little further travel) Rose Bay (2029), Bondi (2022) and surrounds.
