My niece has taken a liking to the pear cider, it doesn't quite work for me. My local bottle shop has one called Rekordlig, which is Swedish cider, strawberry and lime flavour, and thats just lushicious

My favourite cider is Hunters Dry in South Africa.

Something that I tried the other day and was very refreshing was Stones Alcoholic Ginger Beer

Yup - this was what I had in mind. It makes no sense to pay for something and then have it watered down.

You're paying for the costs to freeze it though!

Have not read all the replies, but agree with the posts about misleading labelling (local and imported ingredients), the issue of free range/battery eggs from the same suppliers, and the 'savings' labels where you only save 3 cents etc.

For all the EU bureacracy in the UK, at least food was properly labelled and we didn't have to worry about trans fats. It also really bugs me that we can't make ethical food choices e.g. avoiding products made with unsustainable palm oil ... I don't want tiger/orangutan/elephant habitat loss on my conscience

On a lighter note, I hate freezing in the frozen food aisles on a hot day when I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt
