Girl I used to go on holiday with got this and swore by a cut cucumber or tomato rubbed on straight from the fridge,
the other advantage was all the bugs/flys etc gathered around her and not us :p |

I usually get this quite bad around my collar bone area and down my chest. The doc will subscribe steroid cream if I need it but prefer to use plain old brown vinegar! You smell like a chippie but the vinegar takes the sting out of the prickly heat and can ease it within half an hour. Just keep re-applying when the itch starts and use quite liberally. Works for everybody that I suggest it to so give it a go and let me know if it works for you too :)

Have you tried talcum powder? My mum and sister get prickly heat when they go abroad and swear by it.
