Do you mean in your carry on luggage?

Surely metal pots and pans would be quite heavy? Where are you staying when you arrive, most places with kitchens would provide you with cooking equipment if its a short term rental.

Also why would you need to bring food with you? Surely you will just buy it when you get here. I suppose on the first day you might be too tired to find a supermarket and do a big shop, but you should be able to get the basics.

Normally any opened food would need to be thrown away at the airport, so you wouldnt be able to bring through any homecooked food.

I would not risk bringing much more than a couple of sweets etc through, just in case I had to chuck it all out.

I would also be worried about the weight issue, carrying tinned foods and pots and pans would be quite heavy and would take up clothing space, which is more difficult and expensive to get than staple foods.

Probably because it is processed, but why waste the suitcase space? You can buy canned food here
2. uncooked food stuff like some spices (rice, sugar, tea, e.t.c), packed grains with ingredients written in enlish, so that we have something to cook in our initial days
No. No uncooked nuts, seeds or grains allowed. As said above, you can buy food here to cook.
3. Kitchen stuff like metal pots for cooking food, metal frying pans e.t.c
You would not need to bring those with you in your luggage surely. As has been said furnished rentals will have cooking utensils. Much cheaper to buy a cheap set from K-Mart when you arrive.
4. uncanned house-cooked food like snacks e.t.c
Depends on what it is. I personally wouldn't bother
5. Biscuits and junk food
So long as it's processed yes.
6. electric kettle and some crockery
Again, very heavy and not necessary
7. electronic equipment like DVD player
Will it work in Australia? We bought one from K-mart for $69 when we arrived. 3 years later it still works and is used by our kids in their activity centre
8. Cigerettes
No. Australia is a non-smoking area
9. Medicines( wife is pregnant so she need to take atleast some vitamins .. also she has a chronic constipation so thats a permanent medicine of hers too)
Vitamins and medication are ok so long as they are in the original packaging

kindly add stuff in the list that is also banned beside things mentioned above
thanks
www.aqis.gov.au is your place for what is allowed. Bear in mind that ANY food must be declared. Quarantine classes anything you put in your mouth as food, including gum, candy, etc.

Cannabis!

Seriously though, you need to consider the weight allowance on your luggage!
We packed a couple of sharp knives in our luggage, we also had a couple of foodstuffs like marmite , just make sure you declare it all. You will not be permitted to bring any fruit or veggies through.
Re medications, yes you can bring them too. Your wife is going to love you for telling the world of BE that she has constipation!

We have these new fangled places nowadays called SUPERMARKETS you could try when you arrive.

Actually forget that, it would ruin the mental imagery of you turning up to customs from the plane with all of that lot loaded on a donkey or something.

Also item 9 was fact too far
