straddie ferry advice - urgent
Hello,
Our son went for a sleep over at a friends beach house for the weekend, thought he would love it and he couldn't wait to go.
Just got a phone call, he is in tears and wants to come home as he feels so far away and this is a boy that never cries.
We are going to rush over as passenger ferry walk ons but we we are unsure where to pick it up, according to their website it's Oyster Point or Phelan Street, can someone advise if it is signposted for the ferry once you get to Cleveland.
We have never been and we are going to have to get the 8am ferry so don't want to miss it.
Horrible hearing my son crying down the phone telling me he is so far away

if you mean this company :
http://www.stradbrokeferries.com.au/
It goes from Middle Street Cleveland which if you look on google maps and follow middle street all the way to the end at the water you can see stradbroke ferries.
It is a little signposted but easy to miss -
coming from city youll come into cleveland on Shore Street west - the main drag with a KFC, mcondalds, Toyota/Kia/Mazda etc car dealers follow that to Cleveland centre and Cleveland Train Station and then keep going past the train station on your left and youll come to a roundabout past "raby bay" and coles car park is on your right hand side - at that roundabout take a right, then take a left into Middle Street and follow that to the stradbroke ferries car park
