My heart missed a beat there, deffinately gonny try oot the square sausage, the missus is a Veggie and even she wants a square sausage, i reAlly need a recipe fUr the tattie scone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can buy them down the road but they are like x-ray thickness and come out like crisps after a few seconds in the pan.

WHAT I WOULD GIVE FOR A BIT OF DOOR BREAD!!!!!! HHHMMMMMMMM (PLAIN)

What about this little piece:
Lorne sausage may not be the healthiest type of food to eat - but it tastes great. It is best eaten as a sausage piece between two pieces of lightly buttered bread. It is also great at breakfast or any other time with baked beans, fried onions and mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, fried eggs, bacon, black pudding, potato scones and hash browns. A bit of toast should help anyone still hungry after their Lorne square sausage slice breakfast

OMG you lot have got my drooling here.

Anyone know of a Scottish butcher in Melbourne?

Margaret, my dad's a retired butcher so I'll be asking him to make a pile of sausages etc when he comes in January, I'll make sure I get some for you too.

2 lbs Ground Pork
3 Cups Fine Bread Crumbs
2 tsp Pepper
2 tsp Nutmeg
3 tsp Coriander

1 Cup of water.

Method:
The beef and pork should not be too lean or the sausage may be too dry.
Mix really well by hand then place in an oblong pan about 10" x 4" x 3". You might need two pans. Place in the freezer for a little while till it's just starting to set. Remove it and cut them to the thicknes you like and put them into freezer bags and put them back in the freezer. When required, defrost and fry in a little fat or oil until brown and cooked through.

biggy you are my hero , got the day off today, and gonna spend it playing on be and making sausage.

Has anyone got the recepie for tattie scones??? I remember soapy saying his BH makes them?? SOOOOAAAAAPPPPPPY, c'mon get yir BH to spill the beans
