Me & the little fella decided against a paddle today & instead sat in the car whilst we ate our lunch & watched the sea....sorry ocean.....down at Quinns beach.
Couldn't believe it when I spotted a shark VERY close in![OhMy](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/ohmy.gif)
For those of you who know Quinns it was about half way between the big yellow buoy & the beach.
Thankfully there wasn't anyone in the water at the time so I drove to the surf life savers place & reported it to them & the chopper was there within about 5 minutes.
I did read some where (but can't remember where) that sharks tend to come in when the sea is calm & it's a bit overcast which is exactly how it was down there today.
Out of curiosity is there a phone number to report shark sightings?
