There was a huge (at least 3 inch diameter) huntsman on the cornice in my bedroom last night. It was late and I didn't want to go to bed with mortein floating all over the place so I decided to pretend it wasn't there. It was gone this morning.....hope I didn't swallow it

You are much braver than me. I couldn't have gone to bed....seriously. It would have had to have been dealt with. If the spray was bad I'd have slept in the spare room!

I swear to god that some of the spiders here wear leather jackets and carry knives. The black spiders are chunky little buggers, Mr PP discovered some on our garden chairs last year and screamed like a girl. If they come in the house, even the cat wont go near them.

We just left this one it lives in a old ute out the back of my mates place. When they get to this size I really think they are like an animal and cant kill them.

Nah me neither... I try and think of them as horrible creepy crawlies, but actually our 7-legged huntsman is kinda part of the family now, hobbling around munching up the midgies!

Em x

ah damn, can't get the photo to upload! :(

Well, I've been here for 12 years and nothing dreadful has happened to me yet  You should see me when there are birds anywhere close by - that's my phobia, especially now while they're nesting. In London it was just pigeons in my space
