Soooooo....we're off again....
 

..this time, to Singapore! Final details tbc but we've applied for our visas (or at least the husbands employer has) and we should be off sometime in January. He's moving up a notch which is nice, I'll be looking for work (again) but hopeful of finding something suitable. Is it weird that the only thing I *think* I'll miss is my family, my adorable niece and nephew? Australia - can't say I'm feeling it, and that makes me sad. Am hoping some time away from Oz will make me fall in love with it again so we can come back after a few years away and this time, love it :fingerscrossed:

Oh wow, enjoy! I would love to live there for a while and get to explore it all properly. Although I don't think hubby would be pleased as I'd buy even more shoes :)

Hope you find work ok and a choir of course. Great experience anyway, loved the short time we were there which is nothing like living there of course. Assume you've had long chats with B :D

Cheers Steve! Part of me is quietly cacking it and dreading the constant sweating but something needs to change and this opportunity popped up at just the right time, sure we'll give it a bash! :thumbsup:

You'll acclimatise within a few months I'm sure, I've seen ex-pats there wearing jeans without melting! Having said that I don't think many people actually step outside much, apt to cab, to office, underground linked shopping malls, think it's only us visitors who dare to step into the sun :)

Actually Jan is quite a good time to go as it's a bit cooler, kind of....

My friends thought they'd only be there a couple of years and it's been over 10 now as they love it.

Well exactly, we would never have dreamed of this kind of opportunity when we lived in Bromley (!) so it seems rude not to jump in with both feet. Will miss my little niece and nephew terribly but I suppose there's always Skype...
