Something for the weekend Sir?
Do you have plans?
Tomorrow I'm "at work" all day auditing a masters course for my own amusement... And Sunday I am very actively doing absolutely NOTHING.... May even put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and try and sleep past 0530 for once.... What are you up to????? |

We shall be going to our new house to measure up the en-suite bathroom as it will need ripping out and re-doing. Also checking out powerpoints, tv points and a few other things. The boy has football matches Sat and Sun and the rest of the time will be spent doing the weekly shop and packing

Re: Something for the weekend Sir?
Collecting a friends ute, putting a shower in the back of it, adding a vanity unit, bed and mattress and transporting the whole lot (along with a boat) tour new island getaway.
Oh and trying not to panic about how to get 84 tonnes of sand to the same place when the only access is by boat, and we can't crane it in. I love having a project, and it will be fab when it's done but it's giving me a complete nightmare logistically at the minute as have to have a phosphate retaining system in :( |

Re: Something for the weekend Sir?
House and yard work tomorrow, chopping/chain-sawing some fallen trees mostly then watching the cricket in the evening.
Pretty much the same for Sunday. We were going to go to the Ekka (state show) but granny is taking the kid on Monday so we'll kick back instead. We are hosting a kids sleepover so we'll need the rest. Can't complain, weather looks set fair. :) |

Re: Something for the weekend Sir?
Tomorrow, OH is taking me to a japanese restaurant in the CBD to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, and to make up for being late home a lot this week.
We are leaving DD, who has assignments to complete and one exam still to do, but have said her friend can come over in the evening to keep her company while we are out. |
Re: Something for the weekend Sir?

This weekend we are off to see The World's End and on Sunday it's my 'official birthday day' (ie the day I choose to let the kids wait on me hand and foot as they won't be able to do it properly on the actual day)
I have them well trained :) |

Re: Something for the weekend Sir?
Midge Ure live and unplugged at the Ipswich Wolsey... So close I could have licked him... If I had leaned forward a fraction..
I was VERY tempted. |
