Just don't buy from Modern Solar, whatever you do!

Where are they from? You shouldn't expect to pay more than $12k for a standard installation, depending on your roof properties

well worth it as it has cut our bill from $240 down to $90 (2 months) thats $60 for power + gst and supply charge.
Get what ever you can afford first time as its difficult and expensive to add extra panels later on.

check WA outputs here http://www.pvoutput.org/ladder.jsp?o=pc&d=desc

Perth solar installations

Not a recommendation just some pricing ( with good inverters SE-Aurora/SF-SMA-TL/SE-Fronius )

We have it (hot water), just got it all installed 2 months ago. It's fantastic, we have the tubes (22 tubes altogether) as we done lots of research and everyone has said they are the best.

Very happy so far.

Yes, Power-One Aurora inverters are probably the best on the market at the moment. They are much more versatile than the more common SMA inverters.

SolarGain don't get great reviews on Whirlpool, so be careful there
