ME!

Just trying to book the flights for October but Singapore website is not working!

So much to do don't know where to start. For the past 18 months we have done nothing but talk about it and now that the time is coming is terrifying!

Yep, feeling it here too. It's very easy wishing for the life in Australia then when the visa comes it's real isn't it! We said our first goodbye a couple of weeks ago to some very close friends and it was heartbreaking - not looking forward to the next few weeks and the rest of the goodbyes. Just 3 weeks on Friday and we are off  I know everyone says this but it really doesn't feel real.

We're not far behind you, flights booked for 7th September!. Not really sunk in yet, even getting the visa through didn't make it feel real. Suppose when the shippers come in on 26th and tenant moves in on the 28th then it might hit home so to speak! So much to think about at present and just when you think everything has been sorted there's the "oh we haven't done, thought about, seen, sorted that out etc" moments:unsure:. Hubby is looking forward to his last day at work on the 28th but it's still daunting that it will be his last pay packet for a while. As we couldn't sell our house every penny has to be accounted for and the pressure is on for a job within a month of arriving:ohmy:. By the time we are on that 24hr flight with my 2 and a half year old I think it will suddenly become very real:rofl:

We decided to book a room at the local hall and have a lash up - not lookign forward to the goodbyes tho its gonna be hard.

You're right about the not feeling real, it feels like a tv documentary :D

I hope it's not on tv - my house is in turmoil at the moment!!! We've booked a weeks holiday at our stop over in LA - reckon we are going to need it. I'm hoping it will be a time to take a deep breath and on to the next stage if you see what I mean. I didn't fancy turning up in Australia having just said goodbye to everyone and feeling crap. Thing is, it could be a waste of money because I know that we will just want to get there! Also found out today that 4 days after we arrive the schools break up for a two week holiday so we will only have about 3 days to find a school.

Have sent you all karma for luck!

Was booking a patient in for her next visit today & realised it will be just before I leave:ohmy: It made it seem very real & just a bit scary. I swing between excitement and terror on a very regular basis:D
