Actually - you might need to check on that one!!!
Yes the lady in the Expat shop does not import shreddies because she is not allowed to - she does not know the exact reason, beats me too. Daft thing is she imports the frosted shreddies cause she says they do not have those on the banded list and commented that they are not too smart in that respect.
Mad as anything. Might be like the bisto issues; I have never had an issue bringing them in but have read on this site that some people have had them confiscated by customs when posted. Go figure.
I am sure it is worth the chance of putting them in your suitcase.

I think it entirely depends on whether customs stock are low....I always bring Shreddies back sometimes they are confiscated sometimes they arn't! Pisses me off really cos not one of them can give me a straight answer why sometimes I can get them thru but I am always to jet lagged to argue with them!
I have a friend who gets his 80 year old grandmother who packs the bottom of her case with Bowyers Sausages - they never stop the sweet innocent little old lady!

When we were back in the UK a few months ago, my girls ate bowls and bowls of Shreddies (I love them too) - there is nothing here that they will eat in that quantity
Strange... but a pain..

They just put a nice leaflet in telling me what can be imported.
(I have discovered that adding an oxo cube to Green's Gravy Granules makes a more than acceptable gravy, but she likes to feel she's doing her bit)
