Lose the chip on your shoulder.

The barby is for off topic stuff.

No ones having a go.
However, ona serious note.

If your to tight to get the thing cleaned then it is a laughing matter, cos if you dont pay at the front door you pay at the back door.

Ste there really is no chip on my shoulder. I just wanted an 'off topic' chat on the merits and pitfalls of shipping a trailer tent over (cleaned or uncleaned)

Thanks for your comments, I will bear the cost of fumigation etc in mind

Maybe I do deserve being laughed at if I am coming to Oz and am worried about snakes or spiders whilst camping

Im being serious, if your shit aint clean... they will clean it. Any traces of soil, vegetation, rust fungii, you will pay.

Dearly.

However, if you plan on selling then why would you sell on ebay?

Sell it privately, its the bet time of year to do so in uk, sell in local rag.

Perhaps because 50% have a trailer already, so they just put the put the tent on top.

Trailer tents range from 5K to 50K depending how many extras, offroad etc, to including solar panels etc. Mix that with popup trailers, popup cavarans, full cavarans, and extending cavarans, and you get a huge choice here. Somethings like campervans are way more expensive here than the UK strangely.

What TT do you have? We have a 2004 Raclet Quickstop, and I've been following your thread with interest. I really don't want to leave it behind
What did they quote you? Pm me if you'd rather. Why did they tell you not to bring it?
Also what do you ask for a second hand, good condition TT?
Nosey aint I?
