Should I buy this iPOD?
Friend of mine at work is selling a brand new 60Gb video iPOD for £160. They seem to sell for about £220 in the shops. It seems his girlfriend bought it and then didnt want it.
But are these iPODs any good? I believe they have had bad press with regard to support, hardware failures etc. Should I buy a different MP3 player? The one offered has video capability and photo storage too.
Has anyone any experience?
Thanks
Buzzy

I've got a 2 year old 40GB iPod (can't be arsed to get out the box and check what generation iPod it is exactly, sorry). I know iPods get bad press, but I really like mine. You can get all kinds of extra gadgets from www.griffintechnology.com as well

Iam not an audiophile and couldnt tell difference between a 20,000$ systema and an 18,000$ system so Ipod as a portable music player sounds great.
I got some of those Bose headphones for airpolanes I cant believe the quality sometimes how clear and good it is with those ... the standard Ipod buds are ok for day t oday use.
Yes there are other music players, they may be better but frankly ... its a portable music device not a reference audio player. Get it - you'll rediscover music collection and browsing the Itunes store is a fun waste of a few hours finding new and old music to listen to....
