Senseo coffee machine

Hi,

I have a senseo coffee machine and I'm wondering whether they sell coffee pods for this thing in Australia? Anyone know? Otherwise I won't bother to bring it with me when we move.

Thanks.

they have free shipping to Australia, senseo itself doesnt cover Australia

Australians are coffee snobs and have lots of different machines here ;)

Yes you can - we had a senseo coffee machine a couple of years ago.

Yep, I've never seen so much coffee (or coffee machines) in all my life!

Don't drink it much though.

Thanks, will pack it in the container for the hubby...hence the senseo and not giant percolator Alfresco, not much of a coffee drinker myself! hehe.

I loathe the coffee machines with pods- you are spending a fortune on horrible coffee. Use a cafetiere and grind the beans fresh. MUCH better.

So does that mean they sell them in Australia? Because that is actually what I wanted to know.;)

I know they sell some machines with pods- my boss got a Nespresso one to replace the filter machine. I did not like any of the pods I tried.

Nespresso is NASTY, and hideously expensive.

Save yourself some money. Don't buy pods.

It'll make an interesting talking point thats for sure.

Seen locally as the domain of people that dont know what their doing.

It's probably one item best left behind ;) Take that as a good honest tip.

the only GOOD thing about Nespresso is being able to pop in for a free coffee whilst in Myers... Get a bit tired of having to feign interest in buying one... But heck... Suppose its a small price to pay for a free coffee...

But it isn't really coffee. YUCK- don't kill your tastebuds with it.

Okay, just to clear things up...my husband doesn't drink Nespresso! He drinks Douwe Edberts which is Belgian coffee. They also manufacture pods especially for Senseo machines. It is REAL coffee :) I see that Saquella caffe has pods for Senseo...Is THAT drinkable? I don't actually want to get into this discussion because I don't even drink the stuff! lol.

Ah ha, Douwe Edberts is known as Moccona here. And I just looked at their web-site
http://www.moccona.com.au/public/products.aspx

So the answer is yes.
