Selling Uk house from Oz??

Hi,
We are selling to developers, we won't get any money till they have planning consent. We will be signed in to a contract for 12 months, but are flying one way to Perth in 6 months time. If it doesn't go through we will be putting our house on the market, but wondered if anyone has completed a house sale while in Oz, I guess selling to the developer is the same, so any information would be gratefully received on how/if it can be done. The stress is killing me!!

I did. Just gave a Power of Attorney to my Solicitor.

Dead easy - as ABCDiamond pointed out your solicitor can arrange everything for you. If you don't want him to have Power of Attorney it just means you will have to pay some documents to be DHL'ed to you. Just set it all up before you go.
