The guy was a patsy. Let him get on with what's left of his life, he didn't even do it in my opinion.

That guy?
I was quite shocked to hear one of the victims family say that as it seems to me was kept very quiet.I have no idea what the poor families are going through as they deserve to see the real bombers convicted.Or at least some evidence that it was the man convicted,Sue.

Yes he would be guilty no doubt and blamed for everything else in the world that we seem to get blamed for and he would be pilloried for observing a minutes silence on Remembrance Sunday and for daring to fly the flag of his country! Strange that one isn't it?

http://news.stv.tv/scotland/117353-c...ave-your-sayb/

Excerpt below.....

The governor of Greenock Prison recommended to Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill that Megrahi be released on account of his condition.

Many of those who echo that opinion also question whether Megrahi was actually guilty of the Lockerbie bombing, a position held by Dr Jim Swire whose daughter died in Lockerbie in 1988.

He commented: "The sooner he is back with his family, the less I shall feel a weight of guilt that he has ever been put in a Scottish prison. I think he is not guilty."

found guilty is different to being guilty...

Look... if he is then he is.. but the amount of controversal material on not just only this matter but others (9/11 for instance) makes most folk ask more questions... thats all

We have to ask questions, there have been too many miscarriages.
