I put yes but wasn't sure what type of scientific research you're referring to. I'm against testing cosmetics on animals but if it's for medical research purposes to prevent/cure diseases like cancer then it has its place. As for general scientific research, it covers such a broad spectrum it's practically impossible to disagree with it. Unless I'm missing something ...?

I voted no.In the Principal of Least Action, the differential equations of motion of a given physical system are derived by minimizing the action of the system in question. For a finite system of objects, the action S is an integral over time of a function called the Lagrange function or Lagrangian L(q, dq/dt), which depends on the set of generalized coordinates and velocities (q, dq/dt) of the system in question.

Im with you on that one, answered yes but would have preferred more of an explanation about the scientific research

Very true

However this is just me doing some of my own scientific research....maybe that's the wrong expression for it.........um........let's just call it fact gathering.

It's not a yes or no to anything in particular.

Please vote people.

I'm presuming this is your own personal scientific research...
I am generally optimistic and don't like to miss out on a freebie - so I've answered in the affirmative..

However, if you really want my response to if I agree with scientific research - it's far too late on a Sat night to THINK..
