Schoolboy [14] Arrested in Bali Drug Bust

Re: Schoolboy [14] Arrested in Bali Drug Bust
You can boycott wherever you like, eddie; likewise I will go wherever I like and boycott others as I see fit (and I do).
Nobody led me up that path Why can't I be responsible for my own actions? I never felt the need to do anything to fit in; I've never even smoked a cigarette.
My family circumstances required me to grow up fast.
I don't have an addictive personality, for which I am very thankful - I've had neither drink nor drug problem. I have/had friends with one or the other, or both, I've watched people destroy themselves, people with drug problems top themselves, I've attended AA meetings, I've driven 80 miles in the middle of the night more than once to rescue my mother from the violence of my prescription-addict sister (who I've had taken away in an ambulance twice), so please don't think you're the only one that understands any of this.

Any release that is politically motivated will make a mockery of bothjudicial systems/ goverments. I say hang the little bastard, then birch his parents and stab his dog in the neck, it's the only way he'll learn

Here's one, release him, then plenty of covert surveillance, and if just once he boasts to his mates how he got away with it, bang 6 years inside.

You understand from your exeperience and perspective, I understand from mine, others from theirs...
Well yes, obviously - I never said otherwise.
I'm not going there again with you seasider, we've been here before havent we?
Have we? I'm not sure what you're referring to but it's possible. Didn't realise it meant we had a problem though

I did't realise we were detracting from a serious debate, I thought we were having one. "Leaving it at that" is hardly debating but I'm perfectly capable of agreeing to differ - I thought that was what we were doing. Telling me to leave it at that doesn't really make me think you want to hear any opinions different from your own.

So here you go, eddie - floor's all yours.

So at fourteen he doesn't understand it is wrong to buy or smoke weed, let alone over the counter tobacco?
This is just why society is so buggered of late, to many people defending this type of behaviour, simply based on the persons age/gender life style whatever, he did it got caught, lock the little sod up.

The focus is always on drug smugglers etc and she had not realised that just being in possession of drugs was also illegal.
I have to say I was pretty shocked that she was so "innocent" about drugs.
