Same sad feeling
My dear old dad passed away last night. I am booked on the same flight, on the same date just one year removed. My dear stepmum passed away one year ago today and now I am making the same sad journey back home for the funeral.
May they both rest in peace.

My heart goes to you. About to do the flight after a cancer diagnosis but very luckily for me there is a better outlook.

Oh Barney, I'm so sorry for your loss, and also the sad memories it's evoking in you.
Lost my Mum about six months ago and still dealing with the aftermath, plus a rapidly deteriorating Dad. It's at times like this that you realise just how very far away we are.
