Salt pools - what the heck do ya do with em??
Moving into a new pad soon - complete with salt water pool. Having never had a pool before, we haven't a clue where to start!!!
Can anyone offer any useful advice/ tips/ hints as to how to get it up and running and maintained correctly?

There WILL be a house warming soon - was thinking along the lines of a 'Baywatch bikini babe' theme!!

We were headed South but due to having a 'MARE' trying to find a half decent rental down there, have decided to stick it out in Redcliffe for a while. We actually quite like it here and C has decided to just grit her teeth and put up with the commute!
The house is ace with the most excellent views over Scarborough harbour - just couldn't resist it!!

Just round the corner - Scarborough! The posh part of Redcliffe!!

the easyist way to start is by taking a sample of water to your local pool shop most will test it for free on the understanding that you buy the chemicals etc from them, they will tell you what, if anything needs doing

I am not one little bit jealous ........ I LOVE the UK and the rain and the wind and the dark nights and the mean minded misery of people who have nothing better to do than hi-jack a happy thread and turn it into an excuse to have (yet another) rant about the great british weather......:curse:
