Can't watch England/Scotland- too many penalties given away unnecessarily. OH is watching it very loudly, and cheering on Scotland. He's Welsh, so that explains it.
Well done Tonga- OH watched that one even more loudly, with commentry which included "Go Tonga, GO GOOOO- you wally!" which cracked me up.

If England lose by 8 or more they are probably going home....

First game I am able to catch and it's a horror. Well done to the jocks though. They have a good game plan and are able to execute.

Talk about split personalities. Well done Scotland but England cannot play like that and expect to win through the final. Good finishing try.

I thought England deserved to win. Better scrums in the 2nd half, and more importantly composure, and execution. There was a period when they played the percentages well. And they scored a try.
White No 13 (irony not intended) taking the ball up, good in defence. Armitage good. Outstanding defence near the tryline.
If JW had kicked those points in the First, it would have been a typical exchange of penalties and the game far more even and less hopeful for the Scots but it did look nasty for England.
Flood to start in future?

But then seeing Scotland choke to a really unimpressive England team, right at the end must grate a little

Ashton, in the interview came across as a bit of an extra knob though, waiting for the ball to come to me comment, well get involved you lazy canut, but it was a nice try he got at the end.

I don't quite get that mentality...sure you go for your own home nation, but if they're not in it, surely it's better another home nation does well than say the French?

Other teams only lose in epic battles.

I don't know about epic, but it was certainly ugly

Sadly though, I've enjoyed most of the second tier nation matches the most, that Canada v Japan match, how awesome of a nail biter that was etc.
