Default Ross Kemp in Afghanistan

Anyone else watching this? It's great.

I love Ross Kemp, I could take or leave him in Eastenders but his "Gangs" series and now this are excellent.

And next week, Phil and Grant in "Sortin' out those Iraqis"

It just sounds really funny Ross Kemp in Afganistan, then we could have Dirty Den in the Sudan.

My brother looks so much like him, you could think he is, his twin.

Just finished watching this. What a great series. Kemp did a good job with it.
The Pommy infantry has some serious firepower - and they know how to use it. The Grenade Machine Gun - I wish we'd had one of those! The Javelin AT Missile is pretty awesome too.
You could see by the way they moved about, their tactics, their dialogue, their kit etc that they know what to do and how to do it.
It was interesting to see their reaction to the friendly-fire incident. The press would have us believe that it was 'Yanks killing our boys', but the soldiers showed this not to be the truth and they really appreciated American airpower. Hopefully, people will understand what close-air support really means and these things can happen.

The Brits can be really proud of their military - it's a pity their government does not feel the same.

A top programme.

Thanks, Amamzulu - my OH was fighting the good fight in Afghanistan in 2006 - I will show him your post, comments like that do mean a lot to our (ex-)soldiers
