would you believe it, roughly ten weeks (cant be bothered to count) and we have internet. who said the aussies were laid back????

to cut a long story short, grace loves it here and wouldnt go back to torquay if you paid her - didnt see THAT one coming :thumbup: daisy is the one who misses her chums and her nan and grandad but she is only 7 so she will get over it!

jed found work almost straight away and was working full time after 2 weeks with 3 job offers to choose from!! not bad eh. he was offered plumbing and gas work and opted for gas. so far, he has been to double island and various other places i cant even remember and is off to fiji soon and the solomon islands!!!

and me, well i am having my midlife crisis and have started uni!!!! thankfully im not the oldest student but i think im the shortest :o

we have bought a bag of crap car from Mr Wheels :curse: who are a load of tosspots :curse: nd i feel as though i am driving round in a bag of spanners but apart from that, its all good.

looking forward to meeting the master of verbal pish tomorrow  providing bag of crap car makes it

in a nutshell, its all good and i am forever glad we gave it another go. we would have missed out on something really wonderful had we stayed put in the uk. i do miss torquay but the opportunities we have now didnt present themselves back "home".

id like to spend more time elaborating but as we have only just got online 10 minutes ago, there is a queue behind me!!
