This made me laugh today. What a pathetic bunch of jobsworths they have here:

Robbie fined $300 for smoking on stage

BRITISH pop star Robbie Williams will be fined $300 for lighting up during his Brisbane gigs, but Premier Peter Beattie has offered to cough up for it because he wants to look cool.

While Mr Beattie said today that the singer would be "treated like anybody else" and fined $300, he also said he would pay the fines himself because Williams had been a guest of Queensland and he was concerned at being labelled a stick-in-the-mud.

"He is an entertainer,'' he said.

"He used it as part of his act and he is going to be treated like anybody else, but because of the circumstances, I am going to pay it.''

But at least the last bit cheered me up, there are some people with a sense of fun around:

Meanwhile, 17 neighbours of the Milton stadium last night complained about noise and traffic but Mr Adermann said several callers had asked for the music to be turned up.

If they live around Milton, what the hell do they expect.

I'm not sure I could have sung any louder. I think I've done serious harm to my throat :D

Interestingly I SMSed a certain someone who went to the concert with us & asked what song he opened with.

Her reply "My mind has gone a total blank".

That sort of thing happens when you are too busy perving on him to really listen to the music :p ;) .

(And yes, I know it was Radio, I mentioned that in my first SMS ;) ).

I dont actually find him (Robbie) attractive, so I was more than happy to take my hubby along - I got the best of both worlds, the great music & Dagboy next to me & I even got to take him home :D :D :D .
