Bloody Hell, that's a bit of a shock. I wasn't aware he was even ill.

Not my absolute favourite Bowie, but whenever I hear this song, it transports me back to hot summer nights in Perth when I was 16, dancing by the pool with my friends. I love songs that transport me to a another place and time.

And now Alan Rickman too, also 69, also of cancer.

:(

Hopefully Lemmy makes the rule of three complete, also of cancer, and only just 70 since he died only a few days after his birthday.

David Bowie Drummer Dies Days After The Loss Of His Friend - Rock Feed

The world was shocked by the terrible news that David Bowie had passed away back on January 11th. Bowie released a music video days before he passed away, referencing his poor health, though nobody recognized it until he was already gone.

Now, David Bowie collaborator and friend Dale Griffin has passed away at age 67 only a week after Bowie. Griffin had been suffering from dementia prior to his death. He passed away yesterday in his sleep.
