RIGHT, THATS IT WE'RE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a tearful goodbye at work today 
We fly from Manchester with Emirates on Thursday 17th September to Melbourne
I've waited 27 years to return as a resident and now its finally happening i am absolutely bobbing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TBH I could not have done this without the support of this site, there are things you could not find out from anywhere else regarding our visa and circumstances. Sunshine, Shiels, Lacey, Curly, Louise and the rest have been there for me through all this. Very much appreciated

We've been back twice for longer periods to see if its for us and even though you can never be 100% we want to give it a go. Its 23 years since i left I'm nearly 38 but to be honest it was like stepping into a time warp returning. Not a lot has changed!!!
I am absolutely sh*tting it returning though - never thought the butterflies would have kittens!
