The Remote Controlled Stuff Thread
Excluding TVs and the like, who has got some?
I'm thinking of buying a helicopter and have $150 to burn, any recommendations? Stuff to avoid?
I'm also thinking it would be cool to attach a really small camera to one, I've seen one that does time-lapse but it looked very toy-like, I'm after something a bit more robust.
Possible?
I am 40 and comfortable with this plan by the way.

Re: The Remote Controlled Stuff Thread
About $350 as far as I can make out, I can't justify that but it looks like a great bit of kit.
I saw a radio controlled shark on a tatttastic site yesterday, maybe I should limit my spending to this?

I'm 43 and am comfortable with that plan

Might? Blimey, I'll stick to internet ... as it were.
I think I might get a remote-controlled Four Wheel Drive to impress the neighbours. I'll make sure it's 1/500th scale so the kid is safe.

My old man broke my left foot with a RC car. We were racing them on an abandoned stretch of highway and he steered his toward me, smashing it into my foot
