Full fat or half fat milk work but you need to let it soak in apparently the fat soaks the red wine up,there is a web site called Bare foot lass and it is great I have it in my favourates, tips on removing anything I walked Tar through our rental carpet she recomended spraying with WD40 worked a treat no marks left.

In the same way that white wine clears up red wine marks, interstingly enough, I spilt a whiskey and dry on our carpet and cleared it up using Tia Maria and coke. Thanks Aggie
