Mother's Day doesn't exist in the UK ;)

Mothering Sunday, however, is on Sunday 22 March this year so you have a bit of time :)

Sometimes it's earlier, all depends on when Easter falls.

Thanks everyone, I forgot all about this until I saw this thread.

What I can never understand is in the US, Mothers day (Mothering Sunday), is not on the same day as the UK, but Fathers day is. Why is that I wonder?

Is it referred to as Mothering Sunday at all in the US? Whenever I refer to it as that in Aus, people look very confused - I only ever hear it called Mothers Day there.

I know, once you lived abroad for awhile its hard to stay on top of this type of stuff. I better give the OP some karma for starting this thread, otherwise I be none the wiser and March would have come and gone and I would then be in the dog house lol

I aim to please :o But your right, it is so easy to forget these sort of dates. Glad I got confused now as I can relax knowing that I have a bit more time.
