I'll be moving to Melbourne by first week of next month, Since I'm on a tight budget have to find a job quickly, Although my occupation is chef with five star hotel experience I was told it would take some time to find a good job, hence I've decided to do some odd job until find a good job.

MY question is what kind of odd job that could be found easily, and the pay.

That is quite a broad question! You need qualifications in just about everything here and that includes making coffee. May be approach some hotels when you get here and offer to do pot washing or a more junior level first?
