Cultural Centre, South Bank and Mater Hill bus stations have been closed due to water on the busway.

Services normally accessing these stations will be diverted, travelling via the Captain Cook Bridge.

Do you know how the Gateway south bound from Murrumba Downs is getting on? I heard it was closed at the Bracken Ridge exit but my hubby saw people driving down it this morning. Might have to get into work in Cannon Hill tomorrow.

Brisbane City Council is calling on owners of plant or earthmoving equipment able to help in the upcoming flood clean up to make contact.

Brisbane is facing a massive clean up operation when flood waters recede. Plant and heavy equipment will be needed to help return Brisbane to order as quickly as possible and may be used for tasks such as removing debris, damaged infrastructure and cleaning up landslides from roads.

Owners of plant and equipment who can offer their services in anticipation of the clean up operation should email their contact details through to [email protected] or contact Brisbane City Council on 07 3403 8888.
