Dunno mate, missed that one. I thought they were fairly relaxed anyway? There's a pub in town that shows the English footy on a saturday night. I've never been but I assumed they served beer til 5am too

Just done a bit of searching and it looks like 'normal' drinking hours are 10am - midnight (unless special dispensation is given to eateries where you can start at 7am if you're having a meal). Then there are exceptions for places with 'acts' on from midnight to 3am. The main exceptions for shorter hours are crimbo day, good friday and anzac day.

I think it's true, it's held up by the reduction in serious assaults...
