That's my early night shot then

On a similar note (vintage police shows):

"STOP SHOUTING!" ... "I CAN'T!"

Martin Shaw is sooooo hot these days. Bit of a tart in the Professional days, that hair just wasn't a good look. Wonder what Lewis Collins is up to, not seen him in anything else. Google calls.

Yes, it'll be shite.

I quite like the old shows, but they do look quaint... Big fan still of Starsky and Hutch as well....
Must admit, watched series 1-3 of Casualty, sets look tacky and the telephones..., but I guess with improvements in technologhy and set design.

The Sweeney on the other hand, Jeez, it has aged badly.

I can't explain why, must be the scripts. One is tacky but tongue in cheek, the other is tacky but tries to be serious.

Kind of like 'Minder', it didn't take itself seriously.

Hated the Sweeney back then, can't imagine watching it now, must be dire. Not a fan of Dennis Waterman and why does he always have to slaughter the title music with his 'singing' That thing he's in now isn't bad, with Amanda thingy and the bloke from When The Boat Comes In and The Likely Lads. You can tell I like that

Its called "Waking the Dead". It's alright, I can take it or leave it.

My bad memory of the Sweeney is it had a really downbeat closing theme tune, which also coincided with my bed time as a kid so that was it. Depressing theme tune and then bed.
