A big corporation recently hired several cannibals. "You are all part of our team now," said the HR rep during the welcoming briefing. you get all the usual benefits and you can go to the cafeteria for something to eat, but please don't eat any of the other employees."

The cannibals promised they would not.

Four weeks later their boss remarked, "You're all working very hard, and I'm satisfied with you. However, one of our secretaries has disappeared.

Do any of you know what happened to her?" The cannibals all shook their heads no.

After the boss had left, the leader of the cannibals said to the others, "Which one of you idiots ate the secretary?" A hand rose hesitantly, to which the leader of the cannibals continued, "You fool For four weeks we've been eating Managers and no one noticed anything, but noooooo, you had to go and eat someone who actually does something!!! "

great so far. we are starting to settle.the girls are still struggling though. they still havent found work yet :rolleyes:
the wee man (oor lad) will be visiting us next weekend and we have a BBQ in his honour !!!
didnt think i would miss him after just 2 odd months. :o

Thats good its working out. For me, Melbourne is a great place to live, but thats 8 months now with no tenable job. I'm afraid I'm one of these winging poms now, that go on about how the aussies won't give us a break. Don't really want to go into it now though.

Here's a funny thing. the only reason I'm on here is cos I scored 5L of lambrusco for $9 out of safeway and I'm a bit happy. Being poor makes you try things you wouldn't normally do. Anyways, its weird as anything, reminds me of when I was 12 or something. only difference is its flat not fizzy, but definitely the same taste. Supposed to be 10% but i think thats an exaggeration. Its funny not trying something for so long, brings back strange memories. Some people say music does that for them, I guess its achohol for me.

Changing the subject slightly, has anyone ever seen one of these duck billed platypus things, or is this just a big aussie wind up.
