Congrats on your visa stickers:thumbsup:

We love Florida, I have been going every year since Tom who will be 16 in October was 11 months old. Hubby and I , also got married there, 10 years ago this year, we got married in one of the Disney Hotels on Christmas Eve with Mickey and Minnie in attendance:o. Pictures and DVD are quite amusing. We had both been married before and wanted something that the children would love and remember. Where were you married ? The parks are great what ever age you are, my mum and dad go for 3 weeks next Tuesday, they are both in there 60’s and are taking some friends of there’s who have never been and they are doing all the parks. The Harley Davidson shop is still going strong.

Please do start the wine early, I am still streaming with cold, again I did not have the motivation to go to the supermarket, I am using the excuse that it is too cold and will only make my cold worse, which needs to be better for tomorrow morning for the hairdressers and I have no wine  until 9 o clock tonight when my on line Tesco’s delivery arrives.

We got married at the Wyndham Orlando resort which was fantastic with lots of villa style blocks of hotel rooms and 3 swimming pools, jacuzzi, shops and restaurants, we were really looked after there and they gave us use of their private room in the restaurant for our evening meal after the wedding. No Minnie and Mickey though.
Our kids loved Universal Studio's and Island's of adventure and would probably really like to go back again. We probably would except our littlen has a few issues with regards sitting still for any length of time so the plane journey would be bad enough without the waiting for rides.
We had a fantastic time with the older two there though and technically littlen was there (shhhhh) lolll

I suggested to my dad we all go there and then go on to Oz but my dad (mid to late 50's) was not keen at all, he came out with us for our wedding and stayed a week which I got the impression was long enough for him, he's a bit set in his ways and couldn;t join in too much because of his artificial leg.

I think we have passed the hotel, you were married at, it sounds lovely. Mickey and Minnie were great, We had a meal at the Grand Floridian after the wedding which was lovely.

Island's of adventure is our favourite park, our kids love it there. The queues can be long, it depends on when you go, We had no queues at all for any ride this time, but the UK kids had just gone back to school so that could be why:thumbsup: Although that wasn't obvious from the amount of kids on the plane.

It is a great place, but not for everyone. Expensive to get from Oz to Florida though, have already looked at prices:eek:
