Really hope Pete gets what he wants :)
My dad - also called Pete - died from motor neurone disease and we had similar issues re - care funding so I know how the family feels. I feel really strongly about this issue and that the people who matter - Pete and his family should have a choice for their quality of life.

I've signed and so has my husband. It's an issue that I feel strongly about simply because I would fight hard for anyone to be cared for at home. I'm not a huge fan of hospitals and nursing homes, not when someone has a lovely caring home environment, and for the life of me can't understand why this young man would be forced to move elsewhere. I'll forward it to everyone on my e-mail list and facebook, and start a thread on my own forum also. Hope the petition helps influence Petes future.
