Playstation chip??????????
......ok the damned boxes have arrived. Playstation works but no sound. I believe it needs to be chipped????????? any ideas where i get this done???:blink: personally i am tempted not to cos i enjoy the peace :rofl:

PSOne, PS2 or PS3 - can you give a little more info ?
Our UK PS2 works fine as does our Hong Kong bought PS3. |

hi there - its a play station 2 but it is an australian portable tv :blink: best go check the wires - son did it himself :o brb

surely playstation 2 comes with phono leads, and aus tv have phono sockets.. Just plug them in.

:blink: Mmmm!! will have a scout round for some phone leads maybe they didnt get unpacked cos its still not working and apparently all in right place :confused::wub:

Yellow - Video White & Red - Audio Left & Right Should be a case of plugging them into the correct phono sockets on the TV (if the TV only has one audio socket use the white cable). If there all in and it still isnt working and the TV is a cheapo wone you got here, it could be buggered !, the only other way to check is if you have a HIFI with Phono sockets on the back, try the Audio through these (this is what we do cause TV speakers are garbage). |

You may have to tune into BBC1 and turn the tv upside down.
Or use a UK tv PLUG ( electrical ) Apparently, the tv knows its using pommy electricity ! Trick of the trade ;) |
